Inaugural Asian Champions Trophy
India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan 4-2 via penalty shootout with two splendid and crucial saves byGoalkeeper S Sreejesh in a nerve-wrecking final to clinch the inaugural Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament held in September 2011 in Ordos (China).
The status of the Asian Champions Trophy is yet to be defined. It is not on par with the Asia cup or the Asian Games.
