• Data sufficiency
• Theme detection
• Series (missing figure part)
• Logical deduction
• Blood relations
• From quantitative aptitude by r.s agarwal
• Sata interpretation

After you are familiar with the following topics study the rest

PAPER 2: (40 quest 30 mins)

• finding a suitable phrase to replace the underlined
• the right sentence among the four given sentences
• filling appropriate words in the blanks
• questions to answer based on the passage given

It depends on your english written and communication skills. I didn't refer any books for this part. But i think there are some books on word power.. sorry i'm not sure. Read good books and newspapers frequently.

Part 2:HR Interview:

My HR was very friendly.. he asked very simple and general questions, hobbies, parents, etc. I guess he never even looked into my resume! Be polite, wear a smile on your face and be yourself. Speak out something.

Do not be very obsessed with joining one company. dream company or whatever. You do your best in whatever way possible and let God work the best way in your life. If not this company then perhaps something better! Have a light heart and mind...GOD takes care of the rest. Good luck.

INFOSYS HAS TWO ROUNDS.

1. Written Test
2. Non-Technical Interview (interviewer is a HR )

Written test consist of two sections(70 Questions and 75 min),

•  Analytical & Logical Reasoning.(30Questions and 40 min).
•  Verbal Ability (40Questions and 35 min)

Time Management is more essential and be cautious while attending the problems........

SECTION - 1:

Analytical & Logical Reasoning.(30q and 40 min).

• 1) Figure completion (5M)-Practice from R.S.Agarwal(RSA) Non-verbal reasoning book enough
• 2) Puzzle-I (5M)- RSA verbal resoning book.
• 3) Data sufficiency (5M) - CAT material
• 4) Data Interpretation (5M) - RSA quantitative Aptitude
• 5) Puzzle-II (5M)- RSA verbal resoning book.
• 6) Ordering three sentences sequentially according to the context. (5M)- CAT material.

SECTION - 2:

Verbal Ability (40q and 35 min)

• 1) Correcting the sentences (8M)-RSA Objective English BOOK enough.
• 2) Sentence completion (8M)- RSA Objective English BOOK enough.
• 3) Fill ups related to articles,tenses,idioms and phrases.(6M)- RSA Objective English BOOK enough.
• 4)Theme Detection- (8M)- RSA verbal resoning book.
• 5) Long paragraph- 2no's(10M)- RSA Objective English BOOK enough.(Time consuming part)

I'm the first to get selected in the Written test and went for attending Non-Technical Interview.

Interview was so cool and the atmosphere doesn't look that we are there in our race to get in INFOSYS........HR's are really superb persons........they are the one who really reduce the tension.......Hat's off to the HR who attended me..........He's is 60-70 aged person.......... Asked questions abt wat u had for ur lunch? and  questions on wat you type in the Curriculam Vitae..............So cool the interview took place...........
By 12.00am in the Mid night....... they announced the Results!!!!!!!
I'm the first to get selected in INFOSYS........VERY Happy that Out of 390 in our college......
166 cleared Written test and at last after interview 144 were shortlisted........
So, do follow what I have said above........

1. My lecturer asked me to come to his home on friday when I went there he had some work and asked me to come on two days after the day before day after tommorrow when should I meet him?

2. Me and my pal played a coin flipping game each bit wins $1. At last I earned $3 . how many games did we play .?

3. Here r some thing that i remember

Mrs.Annie and Mrs. Clarkeare sisters { dont get conf by this condition A and C are male }
Mr.davis and Clarke go to lunch at one time rest others go by other time
davis had nothing with Clarke when he repoted him with he mgr abt late coming from lunch
clark and cahier shared bachlor accommadation.

2).Jan robinson, kate jones, john smith are engineer, pilot & biochemist not in the order .they have three martian assistants . as they find difficulty with martian names they gave them nick names as smith, robinson, jones as their masters name.

2.all martians speak uri.
3.the martians name is the same as the bio chemist is naim
4.robinson beats engineer in the chess

2. Mrs Allen and Mrs Benett are sisters.
3. Cashier and clerk share their lunch among themselves.

5. Davis and Ewinger doesn't face each other from the day Davis reported Ewinger to the Manager when he returned from lunch and found out that Ewinger has already left for lunch before time.

Fruits used in salad were Grapes, Banana, Apple, Cherry. All of them used exactly 3 fruits in their salad. None of them used same combination of fruits in their salad. I don't remember the full question. It was of 8 marks, (4 parts.) But I was able to solve it


5. then some chocolate bars problem was given like i had some bars, i gave half the bars to my mother n half more to my father then half of the remaining n half more to my pet and i ended up with 1 bar with myself.how many bars did i have initially? (its not exact but was very much like this only)

Chocolates=x,mom=x/2+1/2,remaining=x-(x+1)/2=(x-1)/2;
dog=(x-1)/4+1/2 she left with one choclate, total=x=x/2+1/2+
(x-1)/4+1/2+1 ,so x=7


6) A couple had triplets - Annie, Fannie and Danny. One of them broke a drum with flour in it and there were foot-prints all around the kitchen-floor. The parents could not tell to whom those footprints belonged coz all of them wore same shoes. Then they asked their children who did it. Annie said "I didn't do it". Fannie said "Danny did it". Danny said "Fannie is lying". Only one of them spoke truth while the other 2 were lying. Whose the culprit?

a person given stamps to two persons jack and tim , tim said I had given 3 more to her she already had if I give 3 more to her then the sender asked tim howmany u have then tim replied I have two more than which is having?then how many stamps he passed..
Ans)I did nt got it..
